Mclaren have been best bar none when it comes to engine management, have been for years - no idea what people are on about.
Superb pole from Lando. He can lose race to max, come second, i think its still then game over

Not sure how close Oscar was Stella saying p3 possible.

But Lando was so far in front, even with the sector 3 scare.

In reality now Lando doesn't need to fight Max hard.

It was a 'who has warmed up the tyres well' (it differs for each car and the skill of the driver-engineer combo is figuring out how best to do it on their car) quali session on wet->dry track. Lando did a brilliant job of it, that's why he was 1 second up on the field in Q3. Delivered when it mattered. Driving like a true champion. The car isn't 1s faster, it's the way the driver and team used the tyres. Considering this, Piastri being so far back can mean only one thing - he doesn't deserve the WDC (painful though it is to say it, it's the truth) , because unless the car operates in an ideal environment, he isn't able to 'adapt' to suboptimal conditions. I still think Piastri is the better wheel to wheel racer, but in terms of operating at the limits of adhesion, Lando is superior.

Oscar probably gets p3 without the yellow flag, so gap likely closer. But as it seems Oscar doesn't like the low grip tracks, Vegas in the wet won't be his liking.

But, he know has it all to do, while Lando can manage.

Just seen something about a potential Mercedes breach, and I've seen Sainz potentially has a pen. So Oscar coukd be 3rd.

Will probably only be a fine for Mercedes

At least England have one over Australia here, as in this qualification period the cricket has fallen apart!

Totally worth it to wake up for 5AM session, would recommend :D (same tomorrow).
Great pole by Lando again. Survive turn 1 tomorrow and he should be ok, no need to be P1.

I've read that again Lando cannot ge beaten in qualifying by a team mate. Which is a real good turnaround for him this season.

A shame for that slide, 1 second up would have been mental. Lando is very good in drying conditions and has been since 2021 at least.

As an England fan, I had some hope. But, I should know never to have any in Australia.
