I‘m relieved! But still, its Norris‘ DC to lose.
I agree, but it's more fun like this, no? Max Verstappen and Red Bull Racing have fully rattled the Mclaren organization. Zak can't stop talking about evil Max. Andrea can't stop talking about Red bull's new PUs. The drivers make mistakes at the sight of Max's shadow. The errors are leaking from every orifice.

Max was just 1-2 laps away from scoring 2nd places in the last two races instead of 3rd's.Damn.
But you can make this up for every missed chance for others too of course

It's glorious  I honestly can't believe it has come down to this, this WDC should have been signed, sealed and delivered 3 races ago.

I still think the odds are very low for Verstappen, but it's so much more fun to watch this way.

Did you see Norris today? He went straight from trying to defend P1 and ended up in P3. Imagine Norris next to Verstappen in the next couple of races on the grid. Norris apparently has had very good starts this year but I forgot that in most of them he wasn't next to Max.

There's a million "what ifs" for each of the top 3, but on the whole it's obvious the RB21 should have never ever been in this fight. It's insane that it has come down to this, all because Max is a relentless racing machine.

Red Bull did not make a car good enough to fight for the title this year. End of conversation. The fact is that he is simply the most opportunistic driver on the grid by an unreasonable margin. Some call it luck, but it keeps happening time and again.

Verstappen moves to P2 in the WDC standings as well. 104 point gap closed in 7 races.
Call a spade, a spade.

Indeed and Lando should had 15 points more in Canada because of his crash and 18 more because of the Dutch Gp (33 points). Max lost about 10 point because of his mistake in Spain, otherwise the gap should be in reality about 45-50points in favourite of Lando. cant believe the battle is still on, it might go down to the wire. And three drivers are still in it. Usually Qatar is good for Max will all the high speed corners. Max needs 2 wins now with Lando finishing P3 and P5 and a sprint win. Still needs a miracle as 24 points with 58 points remaining is a lot. But now the pressure is really on mclaren drivers to deliver.

I have a "Déjà vu" feeling, in 2010 Vettel was 25 points down with 2 races to go on Alonso (50 points remaining). He then won in Brasil and got the gap down to 15 points, and Abu Dhabi win with Ferrari having a very bad strategy and the rest is history. We need a mistake from Lando and Mclaren to have a chance, and also the car needs to be very fast in the last 2 races. Otherwise the championship will be over after Qatar. But at least it gives us some excitement for a week. I am very proud of the team and Max, its a miracle they are still in it. If it doesnt happen I wouldnt be sad, because I didnt even expect the fight in the first place. Because after the Dutch gp the gap was more than 100 points. Also the car in the middle of the season was a absolute diva, and had no pace at all...

Indeed, Max is a miracle worker. Incredible.

This puts a whole other perspective on the relentless zak attack last weeks, I couldn’t understand why he was so aggresive. 49 points up and a quicker car. Now we know. Titanium skid block preheating. Was that the “undiscovered device” Norris talked about preseason.

If this is true, Max might still have a minimal chance. Go Max!
