Seems all media are pushing for Horner. But I still think he is not Lawrence first choice.

This weekend during media days we will know more about the situation. If Cowell will leave or not. I think, like fallows they will move him and not sacking him immediately.

Also, recently Newey stated “ I’m feeling a déjà vu” this feeling is not necessarily positive thing as may reveal issues within the team.

While confident Cowell confirms “ Aston Martin F1 will win back to back championships “

Such a strange situation. You'd expect Newey to collide with Cardile not necessarily Cowell.
Around the time Cardile got hired, the rumour was, that Cardile was Newey's request.

Newey and Horner are friends, I don't think that would ever be an issue. Horner would be an excellent addition to the team if they want to be serious about winning races and then titles. He knows exactly how to run a title winning team, and is absolutely ruthless enough to do things quickly.

The only issue is the optics of him coming back to the grid, but if Briatore is there, then he won't have anything to worry about.

As we approach the new season where Aston Martin is seen as a titan, I'm starting to think all this is more about destabilizing than real problems happening. Cowell was never a TP, he's the "engine guy"; they're just switching him to his natural role before 2026. But the media will do everything to create conflicts.

Adrian Newey will become Aston Martin team principal in 2026.

Andy Cowell moves to position of Chief Strategy Officer.

Horner was just a push from media speculation…

I THINK. It's just gonna be an average car, that will just keep getting better. Cause that's just what Newey does.

Make sense. We will continue to have Krack to take care of the day to day. Krack will check with Newey for changes. Newey will head the factory but leave the day to day to his man Cardile.

Not sure how the CSO goes into this. I don't think that means Race strategy.

Having successfully laid the foundations, Andy Cowell will take a new role as Chief Strategy Officer, reporting to Executive Chairman Lawrence Stroll. Given his unparalleled experience and expertise in working on power units, Andy will help optimise the technical partnerships between the Team, Honda, Aramco and Valvoline and will work closely with the Team’s partners to ensure the seamless integration of the Team's new PU, fuel and chassis.

Yep, nowt to do with race strategy
Cowell said: "Having implemented much needed structural changes as we transition to a full works team and set the foundations for Adrian and the wider organisation, it is an appropriate time for me to take a different role as chief strategy officer.

"In this role, I will help to optimise the technical partnership between the Team, Honda, Aramco and Valvoline and to ensure the seamless integration of the Team's new PU, fuel and chassis."
So a liason between the main partners...

Everyone in the team are just errand-runners for Adrian Newey. They are not making any decisions without his oversight.

On a different note, what consequences if any are there for the cost cap? With Adrian wearing so many caps, they don't need to pay others.
