Well all drivers make mistakes, we are all human. For tomorrow its absolutely crucial to finish ahead of Lando, otherwise the point gap will be too big. I will be back on the sunday and will see when we stand after the race. Cheers.
Yuki is starting right behind both McLarens. Imagine if he forgets to brake properly.

Not if it's a lap 1 racing incident. Bottas and Antonelli still in F1 after going bowling with their cars.

I am kind of expecting Yuki to just make way for Max at the start and slot in behind him immediately.

Just start him on softs and he might be third by T1 so could cause a bit chaos

I know it looks really bad, but actually the potential is there. The car was too low at the end so it caused bouncing. Yuki wasn't running as low so could do laps. He was only 4 tenths from pole. That means Max could have been there with a better setup. It was already scraping too much in the medium tires but Max set the fastest lap on the medium tires in SQ2. The tipping point to undriveable was the softs tires. Soft tires caused the speeds to increase which lowered the car further, triggered more bouncing, and destroyed the ride. The skid was on the ground into T4 which removed load from the front tires and caused the understeer. Then the car was damaged over the gravel so 2nd lap was irrelevant.

Similar to Mexico, the ground clearance will shift into a sweet spot for the sprint race because the laptimes will become 4 seconds slower. Everyone will become higher, but Max was lower than them, so will lose less (in theory).

They'll have to refine the setup further for the main qualifying, but this is not surprising. This is not a car that can be set from 1 hour of free practice.

Verstappen was disappointed, and explained to Sky Sports: "It didn't go well from the first lap. I was bouncing terribly, and I suffered from aggressive understeer, which turned into oversteer in the fast parts."

Fascinanting, thank you for being that light at the end of tunnel. We need for Russel to jump Piastri at the start, and at the same time just Yuki slowing down to let Max go into turn 1. After the first lap Max would be just 1 position behind Lando, and with a chance to at least attack.

Same as Austin than. Yuki was on a bit higher ride height there as well, which they put Verstappen on after the sprint. I think the Qatar sprint win is lost with only a small chance remaining to at least beat Lando.

Yes, which is why I say there's potential if Yuki is P5 with a car that doesn't bounce.

Yuki says he was quicker than max in vegas practice i would have loved to see what he could do because that was a major missed opportunity.
Yuki also said he's expecting a podium in his first race for RBR in japan. He also said he doesn't find RB20 difficult to drive when he tested it. Yuki says a lot of things.

When it comes to understeer, Max can't cope with that.Yuki seems more happy on that setup. That's why
