Both drivers complaining about no rear end, both complaining about no brakes, with Lewis saying the car feels unstable. what a car haha. Charles' onboard for the first lap is rough

Looks like they're going M-M-H for tomorrow otherwise they would've saved a set of Mediums on Lewis' car today. They definitely need to make big set up changes to both cars.

Wow that video is shocking. No wonder he was scared he might go into the wall L1.

At the end Bozzi said "both cars had oversteer" talk about an understatement!!

reminds me a bit of the F14

A disaster. I had 0 grip at the rear. I nearly lost the car in T2. I didn't regain the grip; we need to analyze it because it was just extremely difficult to keep the car on track. We're way off the mark with the setup.

Anyways, Hamilton said in today's press interviews the team is expecting Qatar to be much better than the last few tracks, and that they think it suits the car. However, still not on the level of RBR.
Can't be trusted.

According to Leclerc, something indeed broke or malfunctioned (not sure which is the correct translation) at the front of the car, but that doesn't explain the massive oversteer

That was horrible. I saw flashes of it on some laps in the last corner yesterday in Sprint Quali, but I thought maybe it was temp related. This was just horrible handling.

"They had some things they found on the simulator last night, so we implemented those changes. And, yeah, the car was really in the wrong direction and very, very difficult for whatever reason, clearly for both of us."

"But we just don't have any stability. So when I say that, it's the rear end is not planted, so it's sliding, snapping a lot. Then we have bouncing. So when you're going into corners, like turn 10, the thing starts bouncing. We have a lot of mid-corner understeer. And then you apply the steering, and then it snaps, and you try and catch it. So it's different between low, medium, and high, and it's a fight like you couldn't believe."

You missed Hamilton's amazing story about how Pierre Gasly went up to him and told him the SF-25 looks terrible

And again, 2 extremely unhappy drivers because of this tractor yet Elkann still believes the engineers and track operation doing a great job.
Vasseur probably explains they didnt extract everything from the car and the gaps to others are small…. Elkann says the car was updated by the engineers to a great car mid season and vasseur explains the car didn’t receive any big update after the engineers stopped developing the car since April. What a clowns.
It’s remarkable how good Mercedes powered cars go around the track nowadays, with Zimmerman and Schmidt leaving to Audi, Ferrari will be weakened in the engine department while starting a new engine era. Just look at where Mercedes powered cars ended the race today and compare to Ferrari powered cars. Newey was an opportunity missed and will now definitely help AM to more performance and annoy Ferrari on the track.
Ferrari’s relative performance is dropping furher and further and that’s not due to its driver. With Elkanns influence and pressure on the team, Vasseur believing his own fairy tales and Hamiltons lack of performance, this team will never be a championship contender.

You know it's bad when other teams are commenting on it, according to duchesss they're doing a complete overhaul of the car for quali, hopefully they find something

I knew this season was going to be bad the moment they decided to switch the front the suspension and decided to change 99% of the car last year. This entire forum hated me calling it out, but boy how I greatly underestimated how badly it would go.

I'm not celebrating that I'm right, because I'm very disappointed and sad for Lewis, Leclerc and the tifosi. They should've stuck with the SF-24 concept, but someone didn't think about 2026 and now Ferrari is compromised.

This "depressive and hopeless" behavior from Hamilton is not very typical of him. He's usually the opposite, even in a somewhat fake and forced way. But for him to reach this point now, it must be because he's tired of not being heard within the team.
