just like they created the C6 marshmallows, they need to do a C0 or C-1 for this circuit. also remove those razer shell rocks and curbs.Artur Craft wrote: ↑29 Nov 2025, 18:24Only Suzuka challenges this one. Spa is hyped and nowhere near has the same amount of very high speed corners such as this one. I get why people love it, though. The scenery on the Ardenne´s forest and the elevation change, which is indeed nice.
To put into perpective, look how devastating this track is for Pirelli´s tyres. Most F1 tracks are comprised of hairpins, chicanes, 90ºs and overall slow corners which stresses very little the rubber. Even the C2s, C1s can hardly cope here due to the amount of +5Gs turns.
I do get that a lot of the corners look indistinguishable from another ones, though. Still, for qualifying time trial, I love this track. The races will always be terrible, don´t get the apparent suprise many are expressing
this is what happens when F1 loses all morals to oil money. notice that all 3 ME recent tracks have produced mediocre races at best and required some form of intervention to make it somewhat of a semblance of entertaining
bold - just tripe. Low quality surface with bumps and a hairpin that's suitable only for pre 1980s cars, where tyres were not as grippy as today and when downforce levels were orders of magnitude lower, not to forget the small track width and wheelbase. Monaco is there on the calender for the champagne and upper-elite lifestyle projection. It has nothing to do with sport, because other than qualifying, there is no 'sport'. Just rose-tinted-spectacles in memory of a bygone era. A track like that exists, while tracks like Imola and Zandvoort are not going to be there. It's pure snobbery.
I agree but there is no appetite to build new modern tracks that give good racing. It is all about profit and money.
