They just need to go all in on qualifying setup if at all it exists and see where to go from there.
I think everyone will do that, overtaking is way too difficult and need to be fast to prevent overcut tomorrow.

Piastri 24.0
I have no doubt he's quick, but he had clean air the whole race.

Last year Max couldn't keep up with Hulkenberg's Haas in the sprint so the starting point is much better, not? 😁

"Deja Vu" moment again from 2010. But that Red Bull was a much better car than the car this year. In 2010 Vettel was 25 points down on Alonso with two races to go (50 points remaining). In theory to have a small shot for the title Max has to win both races, Lando can finish in P3 tomorrow and in Abu Dhabi if he is P5, Max is champion again (5% chance), and 95% in favour of Mclaren. They would both have 421 points. In every other scenario Norris will take the title. But a big miracle is needed, or a big mistake by Mclaren. Otherwise the season is done and dusted. Its a big possiblilty Norris and Piastri will be very strong in Abu Dhabi again.

Now we go to that qualy, hope the team finds a better setup. So at least we can fight again tomorrow. Dont know what to expect, that car is a real diva.

Amazing mindset. Thank you Max already for everything in the last years. You brought a lot of joy to me. :)

you are missing a point here. RB in 2010 had a very good car and Alonso dragging the Ferrari for WDC... The Ferrari car is not capable of winning WDC...It is Alonso who dragged into and making F1 more interesting.

Nevertheless an extensive TPC programme is seen as a vital part of Lindblad’s preparations for and development during the 2026 season, and without Honda PUs the only option would be to rent someone else’s car.

Honda is thus in a position to dictate terms, and the Japanese company is understood to be using the situation to encourage Red Bull to give the Racing Bulls seat to Tsunoda.

It’s understood that talks are going on between the two parties this weekend.

Red Bull should've just gone ahead and announce Hadjar as their driver for 2026, and Lindblad and Lawson at Racing Bulls if that's what they want to do.

And then, after it's out in the open and irreversable, talk to Honda about doing some track days together next year.
Surely Honda would see no problem with some test sessions and would like to end the partnership on good terms, or why not add another car to the test and give another Japanese driver a chance to do some laps.

Red Bull has given Honda unneccesary leverage imo.

No pace in S2 still, don't think the car has enough to fight for pole.
