I think this is an easy win for Max now no? Depending on how long safety car stays, they will have less than 10 laps available to build any sort of gap. Will get stuck in traffic after pitting.

There needs to be something strange going on at McLaren. Nobody puts that much effort into throwing away a driver's championship. Neither can I believe that that is pure incompetence.

Edit: I stand corrected, there was a team that put this much effort into throwing away a driver's title before: 2007 McLaren.
