Looks like ALO will keep it close (DRS Train) till Lap 32 and then pit and come out in P6

ALO is saving McLaren (this time). Channeling his inner Petrov.

Red Bull using Oracle Cloud to run 1 million Monte Carlo simulations a second for their strategy + they have Hannah Shmitz, a proven strategy genius. Mclaren can't outsmart Red Bull's strategy, their only advantage is their car.

McLaren has the 1st pit stall, right? So all teams coming past... would have been difficult to keep the lead, to be honest. And Norris may have dropped back quite far before he was able to rejoin.

yeah, interesting thought, especially when double stacking... my brain is not able to work it out... at least McLaren kept it fair between their drivers.

You do not need even a basic calculator to figure out what to do in a situation like that. The rest of the field showed that, not only Red Bull.

Norris's car possibly damaged. Huge drop in pace.

If it were one driver vs one driver, you would ask lando to hold max up. But they can’t.

Such a tough stroke of bad luck for Oscar
