Max didnt need the tow in the end but its the Top 3 we expected
Yep. Expect Max to drive off and then the Macca’s to safely and boringly bring it home in 2 & 3. Norris champ. Max might try and do a Lewis on Rosberg and drive intentionally slow to try and get Russell in the fight but I can’t see it.

George hoping Max gives him a tow lol
I think he would have, but the timing didn't allow it anyway.

This result is good for Norris. All he has to do is follow Max home.

Yup McLaren should just focus on themselves and aim for the podium, they don't need to win tomorrow with Norris

Aye the danger is being overly cautious on the first lap and getting punted from behind. Everyone’s aware of the championship situation so having a points lead is like having a target on your back.

But I also bet most drivers will try and not cause a crash with WDC consequences. I expect a normal start.

Im sure Oscar will try to be responsible, but he wants P1 and there will be danger. Max may also try to make danger.

We'll see.

Max has got nothing to lose tomorrow and starting from pole will give him a big advantage.
Lando weakness is usually during the start, and George could become a problem for him if he slip up.
But over the course of the race, he should still finish on podium.

If they all get through turn one clean then Max will do a Lewis 2016, there is no other option within his hands at that point, so why not. The track layout is different from 2016 though and a lot easier to overtake so it will be exciting to see how he does it.

This. Just focus on a good launch and tuck in behind Max.

Max has 5kpH more straight line speed in clean air. If I were McLaren i run him down on a long stint and follow his strategy. If he pits, I pit.. higher DF on Macca means better tyre life, means if Mx does a short first stint he will be in trouble on the second stint, other hand if he does a long first stint he can be undercut.

Unless max goes slow through T1 again lol

There is risk everywhere. But i agree the biggest risk is T1 and then Lap 1. But Max may make every lap like lap 1.

Max this Max that. Piastri, Russell. Everyone but.

Norris is perfectly capable of faltering on his own.

I think that if Lando can just fit into P3 after L1 and extend a gap to P4 from that he’ll comfortably drive it home. If he somehow gets behind P3 (and thus being in P4) or even further behind my expectance is that he’ll bottle it. He looks extremely tensed
