Congrats to Norris, the World Champion !!

Once the two of them got out P2-P3 in lap1, it was a done deal. Considering the pace difference that we saw between the front three and the others, even that wouldn't have mattered anyway. Plus, they were anyway willing to sacrifice Piastri, and they did. No complaints, a team has to do that. However, it was sad to hear the Piastri radio "now what do I need to do, to win?" after his pitstop. I find it strange that he hadn't realized that by letting him run 'too long' and bleed race time, they had already sacrificed his race.

Great result for Lando. Very happy for him. He has risen with the team and bleeds papaya. A worthy champion in all senses

It is a little sour because oscar cant win with lando but in the end his lack of experience has cost him the title. We all saw that he is unbelievable fast. I just hope he will tune out all the noise now surounding the team that they favoured Lando etc.

Hope we will start the next rules regulations where we finished these...

He was always betting on a lucky red flag or safety car. He would have been in a good position if that happened.

Also we have to say that Piastri last stint on mediums was weak. Norris on hards was faster.

Also congrats that the McLaren thread wins the page count championship on F1T again after a strong come-from-behind victory after we seemed out of it early in the season :D

Little has separated Oscar & Lando this year, we have to go al the way back to 2016 to see the last time team mates have actually fought each other for the WCC. It could have gone any way

I honestly would have been happy to see either of them win, but with Lando, as a McLaren fan, it does seem a little more special. What he & McLaren, and all of us, have been through over the past 7 years has been something of a special journey that has been amazing to be part of

Lando has proved he is as quick as anyone, with undeniable skill, a driver that can get the best out of any car he's driven, in any condition. He will only get stronger. And with a teammate like Oscar, he's going to have to

Had social media been so prevalent in our lives back in 2010 as it is now, I wonder what kind of cesspool of reactions we would have seen to Vettel winning that title at Abu Dhabi when Alonso was the fan favorite. Sad to see how cancerous the online world has been this season. I am hoping it changes for the better going forward, but somehow I doubt that.

Congrats to Norris, deserved title, congrats to Mclaren =D>

What an epic journey it was, from 2023, the bottom, and now with the titles! Wow!
This will become history, a classic.

Yeah the 23/24/25 journey of Mclaren will go down in history, as will the likes of Stella and his team - as one of the greatest design turnarounds in modern F1.

It's indeed very sad that people can't move on and accept that it's an end of an era and a start of a new one. Norris is getting a lot of hate. So far all I'm reading is Max is better, the Mclaren drivers are mediocre who won clearly by car, the car drove to the title by itself, Max drove a tractor all year etc etc. And it's just day zero. We got the double and it's leaving a sour taste in my mouth due to all that toxicity.

But in other news. The 23/24 and 25 journey of Mclaren and the whole team as the greatest turnaround in F1 history. But again it leaves a sour taste in my mouth due to the toxicity.

Imagine the humiliation of Red Bull that McLaren developed a car that much faster than Red Bull that even mediocre drivers like Norris and Piastri could beat Max.

Imagine if they prioritized one driver like Red Bull that, it would have been an embarrassing season for Red Bull.

McLaren is truly the best team - signed Red Bull fans.

lol You could always just ignore them, it's been relatively tame in here? Why even talk about that when we win the championship?
