What is this part used for on F1 cars?

All that has to do with the power train, gearbox, clutch, fuels and lubricants, etc. Generally the mechanical side of Formula One.

I just got a metal part from the old Honda Racing F1 team, I shows the name of it, but I don't know what exactly is this used for. Does anyone know more about this part?

It is used to plug a passage - probably one end of the hydraulic actuator cylinder. The sealing is performed by an o-ring fitted to the groove seen in the bottom image.
