A new year with a new sponsor (100 million per year as the biggest F1 sponsorship in history), back to back constructors as customers beating every single factory team and a new World Driver's Champion. Hopefully Mercedes will give us a rocketship of an engine, the chassis department will continue to deliver top performances and we have a top strategist finally.

Nearly 20m for 2 cars isnt bad, it'll probably pay for a fair chunk of the none F1 programmes.

Or it could be a car that is so much in front of the competition and it is a good investment in the end.

Hamiltons 2010 MP4‑25A sold in 2021 for £4.8m. Is this sale different though? Since it comes with the Mercedes engine and is available so soon after the seasons end, which I'd assume is part of the reason for the price.

It will be delivered in 2028, with complete engine. In the meantime they get a show 2025 car (not sure if this is running or just a chassis).

It will be a raced chassis of MCL40, initially they said it will be the chassis raced in Monaco. Not sure this is in the final listing. 10M for that doesn't seem excessive. I am much more surprised the hypercar got 8M on auction. IndyCar under a million.
