It looks like they use a pull rod suspension on the front.

It seems that the floor in front of the rear tyres doesn't exploit the usual squared full width but instead it curves inside toward the diffuser... might be a trick to hide that part by adding it later, but it's quite strange istn't it?

It was a good achievement from Audi to have a car on track this early to get some milage and gather some data on their new power unit. For Cadillac it's an even greater achievement because they started from zero, had no excisting team and didn't know until quite recently if they were allowed into F1.

However, it should be clear as day that this is a very very basic car.

More like the wheel spinning out, in my opinion.

Didn't they start development before anyone else though? Before they were accepted to the series they weren't limited on anything, but were developing. Not sure if they were allowed to work on the 2026 car after that and before everyone else could, starting with 2025(as I recall).

a very basic car for the shake down is good. They can focus on the powertrain settings and mechanical settings without aerodynamic influence. The basic package was probably the baseline they will use at the first test also to ensure their windtunnel data is correlating with the track. They don't have a 2025 based mule car to use for correlation and 2023 car is no good for that under these rules

There appears to be two massive dive-planes on the front wing end-plates, which can't possibly be legal. I wonder if those are pressure sensors or something.

Maybe temperature sensors to measure accross the front of the tyre. A loop-hole to have the housings that elongated?
