Alpine A526

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Raised front wing tips. First we've seen of that this year. Not unlike 00s cars.

Seems nice but still this ugly livery... and this bulky/plumpy philosophy arround the sidepods/engine cover !

The rear of the sidepods reminds me of their '22 car, when they debuted the waterslides.

Did someone spot any x to the z activation?
Can you explain how this wing insinuates outwash?

The lower surface of the nose cone looks quite flat and low, while other cars have a much more pronounced sculpted undercut raising towards the chassis... is this right?

EDIT: scratch that

for me it seems that the endplate is angled outwards to the tyre, but it hard to see if the leading part is angled neutral, maybe is a hybrid.

Is there a hole in the diffuser like in a Mercedes?
