Hi guys, I was watching the replay from one of the races of my full season of Codemasters F12023 on Series X, in which I lost out in the end to Max by like 65 points. Got me thinking about how rubbish it is with no race commentary in the replays.
I remember F1 97 I think it was, back in the day that had commentary, then I thought for a laugh, I'd take real race commentary and slice it all up to fit my replay. It's not perfect as it was all done on my mobile phone and the software did not have the ability to remove all the background sounds from the voice clips I used and also my capture card wasn't working so had to video the tv playing back the replay on my phone.
Anyway for context, I had lost the previous 2 races to Max and was determined to do well at Suzuka as its my favourite track. Unfortunately for me, I put the car in the wall at the hairpin on my first run in qualifying (like a muppet) so had to start from the back.
I went for a 2 stop strategy but the dumb ai decided to go for just the one....
