Ferrari SF-26

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

From the footage i’ve seen it seems they are running minimal rake? What do you guys think? Too early to say?

The Alpine also has a leaky diffuser so I guess most people will use that

In the car reveal video the scene brightens up for the final transition, the sidepod inlet shape can be discerned there:

(Yeah, sure, it's just a render, so take it for what it is).

A lot of details to observe here

Two bargeboards stays, and funnily enough not straight but angled down of about 45°

And also some winglets under the sidepods mouth

Is this the only real car we have seen that has an inwashing front wing?

What is happening on the side view on the picture from the track at the T-tray area?

By regulation they're allowed to support the bargeboard with one element that connects to the chassis. Should be an interesting area of development.

That stepped shark fin with the white paint on looks like from the side there was a rendering error/someone forgot to turn on anti-aliasing for the car 😂:
