It's just that it's "too smooth" around the sidepods and engine cover in general. I can see this being a simple shell that they use as a baseline and then later on reveal more complex geometry beneath.

However, I don't believe there will be massive changes. The philosophy is probably going to stay the same even after the upgrades.

Alternating red/white paint on the front and rear wing flaps and endplates would have gone SO HARD on this car, I don't know why they haven't done that (well, I do, and it's lame)...

The SF-26 has broken down during the first outing

Watched it from Sky's pov, looked planned to me, Lewis stopped, did a launch, stopped again then they wheeled him in

It's likely Lewis was planned to go to the pits but overshot the entrance so he just stopped there where he could easily get wheeled into the garage by the mechanics. Considering how quickly they went back out, I don't see it as an issue.

Well, great minds think alike I suppose.
Both Mercedes and Ferrari have a bunch of similar ideas implemented in their cars. Of course you can't see performance, but at least from how intricately they interpret the rules, Ferrari and Mercedes are both cars that stand out compared to the other ones we have seen so far that will likely be on the midfield. (I am not counting here cars that we have only seen renders off, like RedBull, I am assuming the real thing looks different)

ferrari only used 15 km for shakedown not 200 km they get for promo.. so they keeping that.. thats why lewis stoped at the start finish line

Looks nice. Hopefully better weather when they can do the 200km filming day and get a good feel for what they have made. Really hope it’s what both drivers want beneath them. I know the car won’t be what it will when we get to first race weekend but I hope for a positive start. Even though I think F1 went wrong route with this gen of cars I am excited for the season and a fresh start for all. Fingers crossed Ferrari have made a championship challenging car. It’s about time
