Should the team allow lance stroll any time during the shakedown Thursday and Friday? or just the filming days after?
They should. At least, let Stroll drive on Friday morning, while Alonso drives on Thursday and Friday afternoons. Feedback from both drivers is important.

Lets just hope AN didn't push the car too far that it end up like MP4-18.
Being this late is certainly worrying.

being that newey didnt start at aston until 2 months after all the other teams had started their cars, i dont think its anything to be concerned about. us on the outside have a hard time understanding that most teams push development to the absolute last minute, and struggle to get their cars ready for the first tests. most teams started developing their car many months before the rules were even finalized. so they have a head start regardless. thats why i always wondered how much contact newey was having with aston before he actually started at the factory. im sure newey had ideas of what he wanted to do, but how much of what astons engineers developed before he arrived could even be used? not to mention getting the windtunnel and sims calibrated. getting it all done and showing up for a day or 2 of laps is pretty impressive really. honda has been in a similar situation too

I think only Lance Stroll is in for testing after the delay. Alonso won't be on the car till Bahrain although i might have heard wrong
Halo not as bad as we thought

The team have 2 days anyway so let’s hope good running.
2 days here are enough given how cold this is, to shakedown the car.

Any other topics (tyre usage and setup) will be done in Bahrain anyway.

But there is also the driver getting used to the systems so let’s hope for two good days

SoyMotor reporting that Aston Martin will be on track today but it might be on limited speeds. I don't know where they would have gotten this information from, so treat it like a rumor until proven otherwise.

EDIT : I just heard it on their livestream, but I wasn't 100% sure because I don't speak Spanish, just inferred context from that little I know. It seems that's what they meant though

SoyMotor is always super interested in wherever Alonso is driving, I am sure they have some sources.

I remember reading them when Alonso was in McLaren

No, that is not what I want to see happen. I am hoping to see Alonso on the top step before he hangs up his boots.

Fernando Alonso is still the most followed and respected driver despite his age.
I would say, this world is upside down.
He could and perhaps should be respected more, not less, because of his age.
As with all the older people.

Probably going to run the first runs with constant speed and aero rakes or something for correlation?

Yes. I think it's a fairly standard warning.
