Aston Martin AMR26

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

AI enhanced. Judge it with a huge pinch of salt.

The AI botched image is based on this. Exact same position in relation to the barriers.

High push rod top positions. Remind of the "bulbs" from late 90's.
Upper wishbone does not conect to the wheel directly, but to a vertical element (the mounting point is at tire hight), similar to what Mercedes used to run with in 2017.

EDIT: AI enhancet image probably, lets wait for the real thing to see if this feature is really there.

Stop making judgement based on AI images with hallucinations... The two clear looking ones above here are AI botched slop.

Is that an exit on the engine cover or a shadow?

Very interesting front suspension.

There is a lot to take it with that:
1) Massive undercut
2) Big sharkfin and cooling outlets on the engine cover. This combined with number 1, the engine packaging must be something else.
3) Wild front suspension
4) Airbox wings

Okay, so is that the wishbone or the push-rod? Because people are saying both.
