They've just posted up Sainz getting a seat fitting. Hope that's not 'just happened' otherwise that kind of blows up James' interview quotes yesterday around how advanced they are?

And they somehow convinced Sainz they were the better option for 2026 onwards instead of Audi.
Williams is still looking like the stronger 2026 option, reliability is going to rough on the Audi PU and the car looks extremely basic compared to the likely front runners.

If the drawing is based in reality it looks like they almost went back to the launch spec 2022 sidepods. Just slightly bigger.

From that topdown view it reminded me of the 2021 AlphaTauri

Clean and simple, almost 90's like really. Not a fan of those wheel covers though, they jar with that feel for me.

That's a good livery! Looks like more thought went into it than last year

PS.. Front wing endplate winglets like the McLaren MCL40

Seems as though Williams confirmed that they are 4.4kg over minimum weight. Nowhere near the 20-30kg quoted from the rumor mill. Looking for a second source on that.

Vowles says their front suspension will be unique although not as radical as Aston's.

Maybe we'll be proven wrong when we get to see this new car, but it doesn't seem likely now.
Williams is still in a much better better than Audi because of the Mercedes PU alone.

Thats not the FIA show car in the renders. But who knows if the real car will look like it.

Also interesting that Williams is going with a pullrod front end, joining Cadillac and Alpine.
