Just by eye balling it, does it look like they have smaller openings than last season even though the cooling demand is higher for this season?
Also Rob said the front suspension is innovative again this season- would be nice to see this close up.
Why would the cooling demand be higher this season? Fuel flow has been reduced by 30%, as such there should be less heat to dissipate, not more.
Obviously there is some loss of thermal efficiency with the removal of the MGU-H, but the reduction in fuel flow should more than cancel that out.
I guess the new MGU-K will also need a bit more cooling than the old one, but electrical deployment is extremely efficient, so the cooling demands for the MGU-K should be relatively low.
