This forum contains threads to discuss teams themselves. Anything not technical about the cars, including restructuring, performances etc belongs here.

You do know this is a showcar, right?
"From success, you learn absolutely nothing. From failure and setbacks, conclusions can be drawn." - Niki Lauda
Its just a modified showcar. Only the livery is real.
You got to admit he has everyone guessing at what the car is gonna look like. Still. I wonder if some people are gonna be pissed cause they made them look like fools ?
I don't know if anyone has read the statements, but they are not positive. Honda is behind and if they say so it means it's a lot, I don't know what they've done since 2023 but Watanabe's statements made it clear. I'm sorry because it will be Alonso's last year, don't believe that he will race next year too, in F1 as in any other field sustainability counts and between plates/Leclerc/Verstappen and Alonso, they prefer the younger one. Let's hope for a pleasant conclusion by mid-year. One thing I've learned since watching F1 is that rumors are always true, "like Vettel at Aston Martin being denied by the team itself and then"... "Mercedes which from 2024 is said to have the best PU. "
P.s: Cowell was the engine guru at Mercedes and the one who looked after this at Aston Martin. If he's leaving, it means that the engine development didn't go well.
I can say that these rumors sometimes turn out to be true. for example, since last year it has been said that the Mercedes PU is the best
And what's that an example of? We know nothing of the Mercedes PU.
Mercedes has a significant advantage if the FIA is ready to intervene. Do you think if they were behind or on par with the others there would have been the controversy over the microcamera? However, it is also fair to say that we will only see the performance on the track.
A lot of talk in spain is Alonso staying for 2027 if the car shows good progress and him saying it himself.
But yeah same stuff has been reiterated regarding this season will be about who can develop the best

yeah i think hell be around next year unless they come out in australia and shock everyone with a race winner. a lot of things can happen over the first half of the season, but i suspect it may take honda a while before they will compete seriously. hopefully they can at least be competitive at certain tracks on chassis alone. lets see though.
Following can be understood from various Interviews and reporting
1 - The car was late in development, almost 4 months behind schedule - However, with Newey on Helm, this is least of concern
2 - Honda has achieved 90% reliability - Would consider this as 98%, Japanese culture being Humble
3 - Concerns on Gearbox - This is very concerning...

Gearbox concerns are about reliability ?
Still hope for a strong second half of season and a win.
