This is happening because Ferrari can't seem to find a strong team principal. When will Vasseur start defending the team's interests? If the SF-26 PU had a CR greater than 16.0, or Toto was Ferrari team principal he would have caused a media storm a few months ago.

Ferrari is F1, they will not sue or lower the sport for this. Hate them all you want but this is because of how much Ferrari has invested in this both in its history and financially.

As the rules stand at the start of the season they say ambient and that's all that matters! If other don't like it they could pursue legal action, they have several avenues open to them.

The rules at the start of the season said that there is a fuel flow meter to measure the flow of fuel. Turns out you could circumvent that. No, we need to get to the bottom of that compression ratio loophole !

Carlo Santi is in Bahrain right now and will (presumably) be his interim race engineer for the test, possibly for Australia too.

Must be weird for him as he's usually in charge of remote operations and hasn't been on track regularly in years

why does Ferrari have aero rake ( think thats what its called) have it in weird shape? where as every other team has them in neat rows and Column and so they able to fit more pitot tube, where Ferrari have lot less of them...

Ferrari's aero rakes are actually quite innovative. They use metal 3D printing technology, so it allows them to align the probes and the bracings with the airflows from CFD. It reduces the aero disturbance that the rake has on the measurement.
