James Allison (Mercedes) suggested that the front flap has very little effect on drag. It's primary purpose is for balance adjustment. The rear wing is the primary drag reduction tool.
The car might be undriveable at high speed with too much forward balance and they might limit top speed because of that.

Looks like they have an active front wing today. I made the red lines there to show how the 3rd flap is lower to the right of the r in aramco. Might be the angle and that vane hiding a bit, but it looks separated there. They also have the adjustment hole just under the red and blue Valvoline V.

The inner section can have a different static angle for the balance adjustment. The difference is miniscule here. This wing doesn't look active imo.

Not it's not. It's a shadow from the pillars and/or the wing.

Yeah, could be non-active, but looks to be a wing that can be made to be active if it is not. Will be interesting if we get pics or videos from it on the straights today. It's a different wing than in Barcelona, that's for sure.

Hard to judge from this picture if the front wing flap is in low-drag mode, but it nicely shows rear wing's low-drag angle

Trying to almost generate lift in the rear, like the Audi? Front wing 3rd element looks pretty flat there. But it could be static and still pretty flat too.

Endplate winglets are downwashing, similar to the McLaren, just not as much.

The vortex shed from those will downwash. They'll rotate clockwise when looking at the front of the car.
