Aston Martin AMR26

The wiring harness is in the way for a proper look, but do you think that is a straight connection from charge cooler to inlet manifold?

In which case, as the airbox does not appear to be spilt into different sections, where is the turbo being fed from.
Using the flow through the intercooler to feed the turbo?

See here. On F1 TV the comparison starts at 45:30 minutes left.

The Aston Martin has a working front wing active aero. It was just shown on the broadcast into T1. It works.
I didnt see much working there. you mean the when they showed the comparison?
I saw it. Flap was down on the straight into T1. Then it came up in the brake zone. It's there and it works.
yeah, you are correct. pretty flat thing when up. looked for me just like normal weight shift.

Seems to be air to air intercooler like Red Bull

Excellent, thanks.

Looks very similar to the previous generation RB, use one damper for heave, the other for bump/rebound, use a f**king huge link between the two sides for eliminating roll. The second ‘heave device’ could be adjustment but looks to be separate from the rocker (which looks sweeet! - very organic!!), so could just be for installation stiffness.
For sure we will never see this unless there is a leak as it is not housed in the bellhousing/spacer, but around the gearbox cassette.

--fancy rockers/bellcranks
--two heave devices?
--the rearmost heave device has an airfoil shroud
--wastegate entry is visible on the tailpipe
--AMR with different weldment arrangements for their intercooler, compared to RBR (in house or supplier item?)
--they don't bother with ubiquitous divided roll hoop, instead split the ducts downstream from a single shared snorkel inlet

Possible, but it is going to pick up a lot of additional heat, doesn't feel like an efficient way of doing it.

Would that not just heat the intake air at the same time as cooling the compressed air?

The flow rate would be pretty poor if you combine the inertcooler and intake, you'd have the air filter restricting the cooling flow as well.

Much easier to split the intake IMO.

Yeah, it'd bypass the cooler section, so it's split somehow prior to cooler entry/compressor entry.

Airbox intake looks very similar to many of his Redbull cars.. Yes the intake does not appear to be split, but inside it is split horizontally and contains two ducts, the lower one goes to the compressor mouth and the top one goes to the centerline cooling system (an intercooler in this case)

From the flowviz above, I am amazed there is no sign of flow from the front wing even going near the sidepod intakes.
