Fun to see McLaren being high on lap count. 72 for Piastri this morning, only Lawson (83) and Russel (78) have more.
From my sporadic live timing watch, looked like Piastri struggled more to nail a fast lap. He would start on new tires mediums or hards and then abandon in S1 or S2. I also think I saw him go wide at T9/T10, obviously on live timing you don't really see but his minisector was missing and there was a yellow flag after he came through. He also didn't really do quali runs, usually he would do a fast lap and then recharge and continue on a longer run (10ish laps).
Lando didn't seem to have these issues yesterday, at least looking at the live timing I didn't see it as often.
If the data is accurate, Piastri did not use softs this morning so we'll probably get 2-3 quali runs in the afternoon.
