They topped the charts on C3 in the first Bahrain test. They also topped the charts in Barcelona shakedown.

This "report" is being spread like wildfire! I'm guessing they want to give the fuel suppliers more time to develop the fuel before the first race.the deadline for the fuel homologation is tied to the power unit homologation ; which is set for March 1, 2026 ...the other weird thing is why focusing on Mercedes supplier like its the only one non-homologated
Because it's from an Italian outlet and Mercedes are currently looking like the biggest threat to Ferrari world domination. For all the justified criticism of British media surrounding F1 that there is, the Italian media is perhaps a lot worse. Especially when it comes to things like selective reporting.
Understandably questionable journalism bias aside; probably because Mercedes supplies the most teams and so their homologation has the greatest impact on the grid as a whole.
