Not a great start. Only 13 laps by Hadjar so far...

Either an issue, or preparing for a race sim?
Again issues...
Last week they discovered problems already in the morning and couldn´t run at all an now again.
Not good after Barcelona started strong :|

Hadjar bad luck continues. He will surely be the driver with the least amount of laps.

Better to discover issues now, this is what tests are for. TBH, if the car ground to a halt on track, smoke billowing due to an engine blown up, on any of the past 6 days of testing, I wouldn't have been suprised. Look at the positive side, debugging/fixing is going to contribute well to this new 'engine making company'. There is no reasonably complicated product in the world, that wouldn't reveal atleast 1 or 2 issues in a 'field deployment test'.

No redbull is being dismantled they are going through what mclaren went when they separated from mercedes.merc took a lot of employees with them and build there own empire.
i am fully aware of that, thats why my remark was closed with a smiley (to mark the irony)

I don't know what to take from this. Mr pessimistic is giving a positive outlook? This is translated from Turkish though - I'd like to hear/read the English

Verstappen (via Motorsport TR)
We've made a very positive start to the new season. Building a completely new power unit from scratch has been a particularly important and impressive process for us. Being part of this project with the whole team has been both enjoyable and a source of pride. Of course, as with any development process, we are experiencing difficulties. Last week had some tough days, and today's start wasn't ideal for the team either. However, such situations are to be expected in a technical change process at this level. Overall, we are satisfied with the car and see that we have left most of the chronic issues we experienced in the past behind us.

Can approve the translation as a native Turkish. I wonder what those "chronic issues" he meant

Probably the issues that plagued second drivers? That seems to be the main consistent issue they've had across the last 2 generations of cars. If we look only at the previous generation we could say poor slow speed performance and bad curb-riding

Doubt Verstappen would care much about that. He's likely referring to understeer, kerb riding, perhaps correlation in the wind tunnel.

Understeer and kerb riding was more or less a regulation problem with the ground effect cars. Most probably the correlation issue is what he meant.

Just because they were regulation driven problems, Max can still acknowledge they are gone. Especially if they feel they were hit by them more than some other teams.
