The Mercedes is what it is. Impressive any which way you look at it.

McLaren a little step behind.
What is the relevance of this post to this thread? Are you replying to another poster? I don't see a post being quoted.

You've brought up Mercedes and McLaren in a Ferrari team thread. I'm struggling to see how this post belongs here.
How your rivals look is relevant to your team…they aren’t racing in a vacuum.

Lewis's times in his fractured race sim were pretty good. Shame stint 3 kind of got ruined by traffic and dirty air, his times in clean air were very strong.
If that was a race sim, I dont think it was very strong at all. Stint 1 was faster than last week's, but Stint 2 was quite a bit slower. None are remotely as fast as Piastri's sim.
What lap times are you looking at? From what I am looking at, Lewis did less laps but the average was quicker. Piastri's third stint is also experiencing really bad deg. You seem very quick to claim McLaren is quicker lol.
I'm looking at the actual times and I'm definitely not mistaken. Piastri's pace is far beyond anything we've seen any other team do in a race sim so far. Lewis was nowhere close.

Lewis's times in his final stint before traffic and dirty air are very comparable, if not better but whatever floats your boat I guess...

Ruth just intimated that Max was faster. But yes, faster than Ferrari, it seems.

Why was race sim not done on new rear wing? That should also add to less drag on straights. I hope Leclerc uses the new rear wing for the entire test session

may be you should add that you are considering only proper race sim that today Piastri and Max did.
ferrari did only long stint today not proper race sim. But if you look at the stint they seem as fast(3) or faster(2) than Mclaren. Of course we can argue that long stints do not count.

I'm sorry I'm not personally recording all the laps myself.

Piastri only just now finished his sim anyways. Proof will come shortly. I'm telling you, this isn't even arguable.

I did, his average on the final stint was a 37.7, Max did a 37.94. Piastri's deg was pretty weak

Ferrari is consistently performing well in race start simulations. Even Haas had a good launch as well.

I have watched the long stint times for th whole day, If this forum would have a more userfriendly image managing I would put all the graphs here. Anyway you already can find piastri race sim times on the test 3d here and you can verify by yourself that maybe your words are just a little bit exagerated

Deg can be managed better. His degradation on other stints was fine. The actual pace of the whole race sim is what I'm talking about. When we see them put side by side, it's going to be undeniable.
