second time in a row Lewis jumped everyone ahead of him at the start, that Ferrari seems good off the launch
It was strong but you are acting like they are going to dominate the field. It puts them towards the front of the field, but it's nothing outrageous.Seanspeed wrote: ↑19 Feb 2026, 18:10Deg can be managed better. His degradation on other stints was fine. The actual pace of the whole race sim is what I'm talking about. When we see them put side by side, it's going to be undeniable.SoulPancake13 wrote: ↑19 Feb 2026, 17:58I did, his average on the final stint was a 37.7, Max did a 37.94. Piastri's deg was pretty weak
I am not exaggerating.motobaleno wrote: ↑19 Feb 2026, 18:09I have watched the long stint times for th whole day, If this forum would have a more userfriendly image managing I would put all the graphs here. Anyway you already can find piastri race sim times on the test 3d here and you can verify by yourself that maybe your words are just a little bit exagerated
Let's hope it's not the only advantage they will have throughout the racejumpingfish wrote: ↑19 Feb 2026, 18:12I hope Ferrari manages to maintain its advantage in the starting procedure and resist the other teams' calls under the guise of "safety concerns." As Verstappen said, those who think it's dangerous should start from the pit lane.

I am not sure how indicative this was. I bet most drivers only pushed in the first 100 meters and most backed off after. Ferrari and no one has such a start advantage like it looked in this video.
Sorry, I stopped reading here.
Your post (in a Ferrari team thread) mentioned Mercedes and McLaren in a vacuum, with no comparison to Ferrari.j_ste wrote: ↑19 Feb 2026, 17:37How your rivals look is relevant to your team…they aren’t racing in a vacuum.
Comparing times a week a part is useless, The teams are learning by the hour, and the track is a lot more rubbered in!
And here is Piastri's race sim from last week run at the same time as Hamilton's. We can't compare times from last week to this week. We'd have to wait til Ferrari does a proper uninterrupted race sim to make a judgement.Seanspeed wrote: ↑19 Feb 2026, 18:15I am not exaggerating.motobaleno wrote: ↑19 Feb 2026, 18:09I have watched the long stint times for th whole day, If this forum would have a more userfriendly image managing I would put all the graphs here. Exactly. And starting advantage (if it's really) can be heplful when overtakes become more difficult with these cars or in MonacoExplodeee wrote: ↑19 Feb 2026, 18:16Let's hope it's not the only advantage they will have throughout the racejumpingfish wrote: ↑19 Feb 2026, 18:12I hope Ferrari manages to maintain its advantage in the starting procedure and resist the other teams' calls under the guise of "safety concerns."
