That was just the first sentence. The 2nd sentence read that they we're waiting for the Car to be returned to verify.
What is wrong with the front suspension?Leon Kennedy wrote: ↑19 Feb 2026, 18:30Leaving aside the Ice, the car has problems mainly with the gearbox and boy also the front suspension (at least you can fix that). In Australia they arrive with a completely different car and I don't know how much it will help if you don't first understand this car you have now. Then we have to wait until July according to the rumors for a decent engine, first they tell us to wait until 2026 and now July, then 2027 directly.
Guys, let's always hope for the best, we were there before and we will be there again.
This is not a new team. Stop making excuses for a team seemingly not doing as good a job as other teams. I can't think of a worse combination than Honda, Aston Martin and Newey though. There's so much wrong with it I don't know where to start.Jambier wrote: ↑19 Feb 2026, 14:44I'm not sure they have a car that can finish the races for now.
But yes they were 1s off last year, now they are 4s off.
Obviously they will quickly gain 2s, but then let's see.
I'm not sure we already had a team this late - expect new comers like HRT back in the days - ?
When he stomped the throttle pedal? How do you know?
What makes you say that?
Well for now everything is bad:Artur Craft wrote: ↑19 Feb 2026, 18:37I´m expecting a very long year here with fans defending Honda like their own life and trying to put the blame on Newey, or anyone else, and claim Honda is great
They is nothing new in those engines it is the same that have been running for the last 10 years adopted for biofuels so trying to blame an engine manufacturer looks desperate these timeArtur Craft wrote: ↑19 Feb 2026, 18:37I´m expecting a very long year here with fans defending Honda like their own life and trying to put the blame on Newey, or anyone else, and claim Honda is great
Well ... what do you want to do, blame Honda for it all? To be honest, no one knows which part is to "blame". Engine or gearbox or integration of both, nor what shape the chassis and aero is in. The overall software strategy and driveability might also be way off. It could be mostly gearbox, it could be mostly engine, or maybe a bit of everything. Fine to speculate a bit and be interested, but the actual team need to act as one, and work hard to fix the issues one by one. Pointing fingers in a big way is what Boullier did at McLaren, only to ditch Honda as they were coming good. Admittedly the current situation is a surprising mess, but take heart that this can be sorted, neither Newey nor Honda are idiots.Artur Craft wrote: ↑19 Feb 2026, 18:37I´m expecting a very long year here with fans defending Honda like their own life and trying to put the blame on Newey, or anyone else, and claim Honda is great
