For now what can we say:

- The livery is poor, as always with BWT.

- First year without Renault engine... sad, but it may be good in term of performances given that Mercedes might be the best engine.

- "Very good shakedown" according to Flavio, and rumors about the car being the lightest.

Forecast: If true, I think Alpine can make a very strong first half of season, with points at every race and even a podium !

It’s far more interesting than Horner replacing Otro Capital, which is pretty useless anyway…
With him, maybe this team will finally stop spinning its wheels and actually move forward !

Alpine is very bold, not only because of the pull rod, but also because it features many innovative technical solutions. Under the front wing is a vortex generator and, above all, the rear wing:The fact that the wing is inverted theoretically has significant advantages. In the classic "DRS" the airflow is abruptly interrupted, while in the case of Alpines this does not happen and the air follows the wing by squashing it and thus creating more downforce. I wouldn't be surprised if they started with Mercedes engine ahead of McLaren.

I'm happy for them after all those trouble, that the testing is going well.
I believe they will be much faster this year.

They finished last in 2025, but this year they will beat Audi / Cadillac / Racing Bulls / Williams and Haas.
