Decent FP2 for Piastri, it looks promising.

I'm sure the teams will continue to dial the cars in and find more time overnight.

But it isn't a bad spot to be in. Last year we tended to gain less from FP2 to Q, wether this is the same this year, who knows.

Mercedes and Ferrari looks a lot settled without much oversteer/oversteer and it sort of looks like their max pace. although Hamilton is struggling a bit. McLaren with Piastri seems to have the raw speed but a lot snappier. Probably FP3 would give a better picture. Once Lando gets to speed, that gives a broader picture. Redbull seems to be struggling.

Slightly concerned/ disappointed to see reliability issues for both drivers on FP1 considering McLaren completed the most laps in testing.

Did lando have an issue in FP2 as well? He spent quite a bit of time in the pits.

Not sure. Think us fans need to re-adjust our expectations initially, we got accustomed to just expecting the cars to be on track in all sessions, at all times. We were truly spoilt over the last few years with near flawless reliability from all teams, especially McLaren.

Norris did 29 laps to Oscars 26, I didn't hear of issues.

The team once they solved their Practise 1 problems look competitive for pole and we seem to be on par with Ferrari and Mercedes. The only question is who pushed more and who was lighter. Hopefully we can continue showing progress in Practise 3 tomorrow before Qualifying.
