Phew! If Mercedes are running full race fuel load for race sims, it's a worry for everyone else.
On Hards, George started with low 1m24.xxx and after a handful of laps, he moved into very low 1m23.xxx. Lewis did mid 1m24.xxx for a lap and then moved into very high 1m23.xxx. Not sure if that is how it is going to play out, but if it is, then it's around 7 to 8 tenths between Mercedes and Ferrari on race sims. Red Bull did runs on mediums, so not really comparable, but Hadjar was doing mid to low 1m24.xxx.

McLaren didn't do any race sim. Just one race sim lap of 1m23.9xx. So, we need to see where they stack up.

Judging by FP2, Mercedes and Ferrari will be the podium. Mclaren and Red Bull have more work to do.

That's what we get with dropping education quality everywhere. Any snake becomes a scary cobra. While it was probably just something benign like an eastern brown.

What was that guys really? I was expecting worse than Bahrain because this is a non recovery track but man, Alonso GP2 famous words fell sort today. All cars cruising in after 3/5 of the straights, in corners i never saw anyone really having grip as we used to in all F1 history. In bracking we saw most of the cars either blocking the fronts because the rear wasnt braking correctly with harvesting or the opposite were the harvesting was big and was like you handbraked.
It's a total joke imo, i don't believe it what they did to f1. The cars don't have power in the start of the main straight or they don't use it? i cannot imagine a train of cars turning the last turn and some of them having electric power still and some not. They will pass each other 2-3 times before the end of the straight? and if someone use all his power to keep in front, then in the next straight will be sitting duck?
This is not F1 but WWE.
I read also in team threads that "we are good" etc from all the teams... Guys this is a lotto as it is now.

must have been an attack from Briidgestone then, I guess.

Here's the long run table also including the other teams. Norris didn't do any high fuel runs, so I didn't add him

as someone pointed it out as a potential good indication for the true pecking order, here's also a look at the sector 2 longrun times only:

Merc gonna be lapping the field after about 20laps.

Unless nobody else has wound the engine up, but I’d imagine pretty close now.
