don´t worry. Mercedes will hide their max pace (I think they already did but they will do even more so on the race) and will not vanish in front of the others.

The only good thing is that Mercedes drivers have tiny fan bases. The vast majority of fans are the ones of Hamilton, Verstappen, Alonso, Leclerc and Piastri. So, FIA/Liberty will have commercial interest to hinder Mercedes performance

I guess at this point everybody suspects they have more time in their hands. They will make sure to hide it more, from now on

It is frustrating though because it’s clearly a well developed chassis, and they’ve been super innovative with certain features this year…

Firing Fred won't change their fortune. Ferrari's problem is not a one-person problem, it's systemic and so they miss out on the last few 10th even when they build a good car.

They require deep honest analysis and slow methodical optimizations...not wholesale changes.

We need to see how Mercedes PU perform post 1st June. I still don't think it's going to matter however there is a chance that they have build non compliant engine.

Australia is a power circuit where the PU plays a bigger role than more technical part of car like the chassis aero.

This should motivate Ferrari to bring the rear wing which should give them more straight line speed

This is not really Fred's failure imo. The car is balanced. Drivers are feeling good. It's just not enough for Mercedes. It is what it is. It would be different if they start with suspension flaw again.

Charles aluded it to software, they have some self learning software and issue with that since there was red flag and disruption during q2 so this missed up it's learning? Idk I don't understand some one here can explain better

I mean there was reports before the season start that if they don't get result in 6 race Charles will leave and likely change in leadership
