can Mercedes go to end ?
Seems so and now they pit Leclerc, they just don't wait a bit more for a new SC....

Very probably.

But Ferrari messing up not pitting has meant it’s easy for them now so they will likely stop again and still win.

I just dont understand their reasoning, at least box 1 car at the very least, this is just crazy, and they had 2 chances as well, its not like they had to make a quick decision and bottled it, they had 2 laps to pit under the VSC, what data do they have?
2nd time the pitlane was closed

During the first VSC they passed the pits twice. Second time they waved it off because they were not sure VSC won't end while they pit.

We may only have 9 or 10 cars take the flag at this rate so there may be more free stop opportunities later.
That and the super clipping in the fast corners means tires should last longer as loads are less.
As it seems mediums can last full race. Ferrari botched it for sure
For everyone except Verstappen apparently. He's really complaining about the set they just put on at the stop.

Another mistake from Ferrari was leaving Hamilton out extra laps. He will never get that gap back down to Leclerc now as the deg won’t be there to make up for it.

No DRS trains to be seen. Just big gaps.
Wow, we really loved DRS trains. How will we live without them.
Id rather watch a pack of cars close together until someone makes a mistake than qualifying sized gaps between the cars instead. But that's just me.

His front left was very bad and his pace was falling off. I would have waited as well to maybe get some lucky SC/VSC but everyone ahead of him would pit as well so not a huge chance of going ahead.

You saw the battery of Max before the VSC? He reached the start finish line with much better battery than Norris but didn't used it... That was happening 4-5 turns before the straight. Why he is leaving juice in?

Ferrari robbed us of a good race. Not pitting under that first VSC is a crime.

Maybe it comes back to them with tire life but if they pitted at that time we would probably have Mercedes-Ferrari fight for most of the race.
