I’m old enough to remember when people said Toto was a bad team principal.

People have said that throughout the entire ground effect era. Basically whenever Mercedes is winning it's because they got lucky with lobbying for regs that suit them, and when they're losing it's because Toto just isn't an engineer like Andrea or Ayao and therefore he's lost his way.

Well, I guess he knows *enough* about engineering to lobby for the exact regs that Mercedes knows how to nail. Which is one of many important jobs of a TP.

Third rate chassis P1 and P2. George and Kimi are driving the hell out of that third rate chassis. Good for them.

Well, certainly not the best chassis because that’s the Ferrari. We’ve come to a point in F1 where the best chassis gets beaten by well over half a second in qualifying.

I feel like Ferrari or Mercedes being the "best chassis" between either of them is up for debate. Them being the 2 best chassis's vs the rest of grid is something everyone would agree on.

I wish there was a way to run the car by removing the PU and with "chassis only". It would be so much fun to see how Lewis and Charles would dominate F1. I would bet on Charles winning that contest still, while poor Mercedes might not even come out of garage.

Do we know if Antonelli had a battery or PU problem at the start of the sprint or if it was a driver error?

Would be nice to see him convert this to a win tomorrow (if it's not Ferrari of course ! )
