No nead for a new thread but Max his own Vertappen.com Racingteam won last month the Gold Cup Championship in GT3 Racing.
.
Here's how to follow the championship race of Verstappen.com Racing today
The protégés of Max Verstappen will compete today for a third championship in the GT3 racing. Chris Lulham and Thierry Vermeulen are competing today in the Endurance Cup season finale of the GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS with the Aston Martin from Verstappen.com Racing. GPFans explains how to follow the action.
The European version of the GT World Challenge consists of three championships: the Sprint Cup with two races per weekend of one hour each, the Endurance Cup with three races of three hours, one of six hours and the 24 hours of Spa, and the combined points position of Sprint and Endurance together. Lulham and Vermeulen became champions in the Gold Cup class of the Sprint Cup in a few thrilling races in Valencia last month. They did this with a Ferrari 296 GT3 from Emil Frey Racing. They have also secured the Gold Cup title in the combined stand. Along with Harry King, they are also the Gold Cup leaders in the Endurance Cup and today the last three-hour race will be held at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, for which 60 GT3 cars are registered.
Qualification and the race
In addition to the Gold Cup titles in the combined stand and the Sprint Cup, Lulham and Vermeulen will also try to win the championship in the Endurance Cup. The Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 Evo from Verstappen.com Racing, which receives technical support from 2 Seas Motorsport, is 16 points ahead of the Al Manar Racing by WRT-BMW by Jens Klingmann, Ben Tuck and Al Faisal Al Zubair, and 22 points ahead of the CSA Racing McLaren by Simon Gachet, James Kell and Arthur Rougier. There is 1 point to be earned for the pole position and 25 for the win.
The qualifying starts at 10:25 a.m. and is divided into three parts so that everyone gets their turn. The average of the best lap time of each driver determines the starting point of a car. The session can be followed here on YouTube.
The race starts at 15:00, but the broadcast will start at 14:30. This can also be followed on YouTube.
AND ....... THEY DID IT!!!

Max has achieved everything he dreamed of in the F1 circus and there really isn't much point in him continuing after 2028 if he's bored is there? Makes so much more sense for him to enter new forms of motorsport to be an all time motorsport great across the board.
Max Verstappen has arrived at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, where he is conducting a GT3 test today.
The Dutch four-time world champion traveled to Germany last night and was spotted at the iconic circuit this morning. Remarkably, his team is driving around with not one, but two Mercedes cars.
Verstappen will participate in the Nürburgring 24 Hours in a month and a half, and he wants to prepare as well as possible for this adventure. Two weeks ago, he took part in the NLS2 race, and during the Formula 1 April break, he will be found at the Ring more often. As GPToday.net reported last weekend, he is completing a test today with his Mercedes-AMG GT3 on the Nordschleife.
Challenging conditions
Footage that leaked this morning shows two Mercedes cars in the colors of Verstappen Racing driving around the Nordschleife. The drivers are clearly being cautious, as it is currently very cold in the Eifel. This morning, fog hung over the circuit and the grass in the run-off areas was white with frost.
Verstappen will be putting in laps during the test today, after which he will return home this evening. It is not known who will be driving the second car. Verstappen's GT3 teammate Jules Gounon already hinted yesterday that he would be traveling to the Ring. There is therefore a good chance that the Frenchman, who lives in Andorra, will also be present in the Green Hell.
What are the plans for the coming weeks?
During the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, Verstappen will share his car with Gounon, Daniel Juncadella, and Lucas Auer. During the NLS2 race, Verstappen shared his car with Juncadella and Gounon, and it is expected that he will be in action with Auer during the qualifying races in April. In Japan, Verstappen already hinted that there was a very high chance that he would appear on the starting grid here. After all, due to the cancellation of the Bahrain and Saudi Arabia Grands Prix, he has more time.
Verstappen did, however, rule out his team appearing at the start of the NLS3 race. The Dutchman stated that his team would instead participate in a race at Paul Ricard. In Japan, Verstappen indicated that he would like to drive at the Ring in the rain and in the dark. In any case, today's track conditions offer him another chance to gain a lot of experience.
Honestly? I don't think so. Drivers that made those times are development drivers, experts on the Nurburgring. Max could beat the ford record, yes, I think not right away, and not by 10 seconds. Means that he cannot get close to 6.05.xx. My opinion.
But was Max driving that car on the Nordschleife? Is this serie where he can't take part?
.
Again. Yesterday it was his Team which he owns was driving. They will do the whole year while Max is the Team Principal.
At the Nordschleife he only takes part at the 24h with his car and his own usual drivers. Just one race during the w
hole year.
