It was the Machiavellian manoeuvres to oust Christian Horner that caused all of this.

He must laughing so hard at what has happened.
Ah! You just reminded me of the full throated calls from Jos that Christian Horner must leave. Very good point there.

A very curious question are things happening as Jos expected? Or maybe he didn't have any calculations at all? It is hard to tell really with that man.

On GP leaving, I for one don't think it's a big deal for the Verstappen clan to encourage GP to go for the promotion. It might be after that fact that they recognise the team is sinking or that they believe that Max should be fine regardless of which race engineer he gets (he can figure it out whether to work with that engineer or request another one). I am more inclined to the later case. They think Max is strong enough to weather this storm.

Disagree. Newey and Wheatley all left before Horner was sacked. They wanted him gone and when he wasn't sacked they left. Wache was close with Horner. I can imagine that Marshall left because Horner was putting Wache before him.
Maybe the environment with the fighting between Horner and the new owners had become too much. They all stayed in the team for a years before this.

The problem was never Horner. That will probably start to show this year and more next year.

Wheatley left in the summer of 2024 when it became apparent that Horner was staying (which meant he wasn't getting promoted to TP at RB). Newey also left in 2024 during the midst of the scandal and is now (per the BBC) blocking Horner from joining Aston (maybe he loves the guy too much to want to work together again  ).

Horner was one problem, but he wasn't the definitive problem. That began as early as 2023 and has seemingly only gotten worse with the lack of correlation.

The verstappen camp wanted Horner out so badly that everyone plus their own fans were celebrating it. Now the team is crumbling like a house of cards. When Horner cried during the send off speech, you could tell that he had put his blood and soul into that team. I still want to see max put the current boat he has on pole. Max should stay there and build the team back up with JOS

It's too late to sack Horner when it's been 1.5 years of the scandal and investigations, the damage is already done. The exodus started when Horner stayed and biggest names left.

.
Do you believe a guy who left RBR in 2015 and then became 'Global Director of Service Innovation' at Tesla Cars???

Everybody wants Hannah but what does Hannah want herself?

This downfall has to be recorded. Hannah was anyways only the face. She was at the pitwall at Brazil last year after all and strategy has been suspect for a while. The downfall into a midfield team is quite staggering. Jos Verstappen, well played.
The FIA folds on a royal flush.
