Its safe to say that Norris could have been on top if it wasnt for Albon closing the racing line.

Agreed. Oscar seems a little short on confidence though

17 minutes before Sprint Qualifying and what do people think of the car's performance from a first point of view? Is the team having a good chance of getting pole compared to the previous races?

Don’t get ahead of yourselves:

Brown: Mercedes still the favourites despite rivals' upgrades
McLaren chief executive Zak Brown speaking to Sky Sports F1 on the team's upgrades:
"So far, so good. Everyone's done a great job back at the factory.
"Upgrading our car has become a specialty here in the last couple of years.
"Ferrari look like they have a very fast car and have even more upgrades than we have.
"Mercedes are still the favourites but it feels like the grid will start closing up a little bit."

Let's give it our all and enjoy racing. Let's go team.

Very good first time. Definitely a statement there. Let's see if it's genuine. I welcome a rivalry battle between Mclaren and Ferrari this year for the title.

Car looks good on Mediums, Norris would probably be P1 if he had a normal lap.

Not a good time from Norris on Q2 and the car seems to be a pole car. Let's see what happens in Q3.

Unless Ferrari can dramatically improve their engine, Mclaren will have an inherent advantage that Ferrari simply cannot match.

The Empress of F1 Mclaren is back and it seems that the car is starting to become a car of the field. Good job to all the technicians for all the hard work.

With the way Kimi was starting, it doesn't really matter
