The track seemed worse at the end sadly but we can be very satisfied!

P2 behind Antonelli is basically pole 8)

Ok maybe not for RB who have had almost equally bad starts. Anyways, what a turnaround.

Wow. Finally some joy, what a lap by Max. The car is really improved... Didnt see that P2 coming. Very happy,...

Imagine this car fully working and also if they lost that final 7-8 kg in the next races. Maybe not all is lost. I would really like a podium tomorrow.

That's crazy. So much improvement in 1 month. Although I would have been the happiest with pole. Maybe Max can even win tomorrow, we saw that tyre wear was excellent for the RB22 in the sprint.

8 tenths ahead of Hadjar. Max was impressive today.

Very, very surprised by this, I did not expect the upgrades to work so well.

Someone should have a chat with Hadjar and tell him to get used to it, did he honestly think he would be beating Verstappen, or even staying within one tenth?

Need a 30.0 in S1
He got 30.0xx in Q2 I think.
But in Q3 it was 30.2xx both times, iirc.
Weird to see Max less than 2 tenths behind the lead mercedes in Q trim.
Well done. The regulations continue to be s**t though...

Please dont have hopes - Max has 100% record of bad starts in 2026 so far.

Now I wish for no rain tomorrow, just a normal race. Sprint pace and deg looked promising.
Anyway, at least we'll see how each car behaves in the wet.

Hoping to see more Jos paranoia and predictions about RB "never coming back", becoming midfield and selling the team. Have predictions ever aged more poorly?

We should wait until at least the end of the season to evaluate.
It is a fact that they lost a ton of key people. But it will take time to see the effect of those and also the effect of the new hires/restructuring.

Idk why RB uses this deployment strategy, they bleed so much time on the run to T4. At minimum they should have reduced deployment on the run to T1 and used it on the run to T4, it would have been better spent there. Image

They could always put the upgrades on both cars.
