The active aero makes it much harder for teams to setup the car for a race that has the potential for rain. When it rains, the straight line mode is partially disabled so the cars will wear the plank more. Teams would have to offset this by running higher if they think it will rain for a lot of the race. Some teams will gamble on a dry race and would get caught out if it rains. Its a challenge that didn't exist in the past.

the sole close rain cell looks likely to miss the track, so it normally should remain dry for significant parts of the race.

Indeed looks dry for 2 hours from now, the cell goes NW-N from the circuit. Good.

Formula 1 ain't playin', when it rains it pours. The drivers get set up, that's when it rains it pours.

In Miami? There's monsoon and dry, no in-between. That's why the Miami Heat guy told Brundle not to hope for rain. :lol:
