interesting - this saves them that annual week long preseason trip to Austria.
I had heard they were building a new dyno facility - was hoping it might have been some engine dyno rigs which would signal a move to build their own engines, maybe single cylinder dynos - but seems its the AVL full car powertrain test bed

@PhilipM or any McLaren insiders -- while we wait for another painfully boring break to pass -- any info on what the "innovative" new features are that Stella was talking about or when we might see the Macca-rena (see what I did there?) rear wing?

On another note. Do you think Mclaren might make another good step forward with the rest of the upgrade?

Just out of curiosity.. when the new rule regarding compression rate starts (1/6 if I’m not wrong). Does that make current engine useless or are Mercedes powered engines allowed to make changes on them to stay within the rule (if necessary) even tho they are in the pool.
Or is this an easy fix whiteout needing to change any parts?
