i mean, im not disagreeing with you, but, why? haha. havent heard his name in years. and he barely spoke english back then. japan is enough of a language barrier already
Didn't they already hire Wheatley? They're just waiting for his gardening leave to finish?
Dunno. But Ferrari would have trounced RB if Ferrari just let Arrivabene do what he wanted. You could literally read it on his face that the politics was the real failure those years.

Arrivabene + Newey with a Tost consultation would make Championships a real target with their current infrastructure.
Didn't Arrivabene get fired for not being able to bring Alonso back? Irony in that.

It was Marco Mattiacci.

Small update for the Gearbox for Canada, maybe software update for better sync between Engine and Gearbox, should give few tenths ..

Link on the previous page from Nugnes at motorsport said "Meanwhile, the engine and gearbox have been revving at Honda's dynamic bench in Japan, and the fine work being done in electronic management at Sakura should allow for a quantum leap in Montreal, a track that enhances stop-and-go qualities and where traction plays a role in performance. Will this be the first (small) turnaround? "

Wazari is a fakey for sure, the internet is full of larpers. I remember someone randomly mentioning him, and it was not long after (hours) after which he responded with some story. Likely active with a sock
Agree. It's hard because he says a lot without saying anything. Which you could argue "well what do you expect? him to just divulge all secrets?", but this is the internet, it'd be gullible to just believe anything.
But the most obvious thing is he only appears when there is controversy. And suddenly only appears within 24-48 hours of him being mentioned. And he then repeats vague information as if it should be taken as fact, then actively berates anyone who is ambiguous of its validity or, rather frustratingly, hides behind the facade of "you don't have to believe me, I know what im saying/who I am". Which I find amusing because this is the internet and anyone can be anyone and the dumbest thing to do would be to reveal yourself as a high profile team member. So if he is a senior Honda staff member, he's not particularly respectful of an entirely reasonable level of scrutiny.

My biggest shock was recently when he posted and implied "I'm only working on the ICE, so I'm not really sure what's going on with the PU integration with the car, I only hear from a colleague". This shocked me. You would assume an integral member of the project would be across all of the PU issues they are facing at the moment, regardless of his personal specialisation. It just made the entire organisation seem disjointed and weirdly uninformed.

So I have to say, I'm now squarely in the "I think he's a forum member with copium" camp. The alternative is accepting how completely disjointed and completely ponderous Honda/HRC are as an organisation.

Back to the car. This gearbox integration rumour is positive news. The entire PU listening to onboards just didn't seem as well synchronised as the others.
