Drive shafts can fail for many reasons.
So why do you insist on the driver being the culprit?

Who insisted? No one insisted anything.

How many times in Formula 1 and other series have cars failed for simpler excursions? I only raised my thoughts on a strong possibility and I left it there. I have no problem if no one agrees or if my feeling is proven wrong. Neither here nor there for me.

Anyway. Looking forward to his next GT adventure. The win will come.

Seems like (to me) Max's two wheels on grass overtake did damage to the driveshaft? ultimately leading to a DNF. Bit disappointing for his fans, but it's encouraging for the next time.
You did directly say it. No trolling, thanks.

Why do they call it GT3 racing?

The cars are similar to GT1 cars of late 90s and 2010s in terms of specs; 550 hp to 650 hp, 1,200 kg to 1,350 kg vs NLS SP9 500 hp to 600 hp, 1,250 kg to 1,350 kg. Both had a road going variant on which the race machines are based on with custom body work for weight reduction and aerodynamics.

If Max races in next year's Nürburgring 24h, can he just show up for the 24h race?

If I had to guess it's because in the 2000s we also had GT1 and GT2, then GT1 died and slowly GT2 morphed into GTE which was essentially GT1, and when that died we were left with GT3.

The front looks good almost mistook it as an Audi with those lights

The rear is not so great, still looks like something very 80's

A audi copy here too would have been nice
