That was an amazing race! Hunting down Mercedes (by Lando) and Ferrari (by Oscar) by McLaren boys was a pleasure to watch. Positive outcome on a "non-McLaren track"

Some food for thought. Considering Russell punted Kimi off the track on the chicane do you think he should be penalized so Norris could take first? Kimi was in control of his car and he had the right of the corner.
There was no punting. Please stop with the nonsense and wishful thinking.

Team on team battles aren’t usually penalised

Lando reckons he’d have been 10 seconds behind if the Mercs hadn’t have squabbled.

I agree with him. Maybe 10 seconds is a bit too much, but Mercedes also started on used tires. They have a lot of pace.
Honestly, I think there is no chance of touching them here unless the weather mixes things up a lot, or they mess up.

Lol Lando is such a glass half empty guy! He was clearly saving tires relative to everyone else

A great masterclass driving from Lando Norris in my opinion going toe to toe with faster cars but I don't think he will be able to pass Russell. The Mercedes are faster in top speed and as you can see it's impossible even with straight mode.

Still very good racing going with Russell till the end putting some pressure on him to make a mistake.
Bit strong saying Lando’s drive was a masterclass. Was it a good drive, yes but my god masterclass is something else

Isn't it though when you beat one of the Mercedes and charge the other when the Mercedes are simply faster at the moment?

The replay shows Russell sending Antonelli off the track by pushing him. And I asked a question for opinions. No need to feel so triggered.

McLaren will also not run a Frankenstein car for the rest of the weekend

Are we expecting the new front wing again? Cause I dont think they have time to test it.

I think it's more likely that the whole car reverts to the Miami spec

Do we have the Miami spec parts with us? Cause we will have to remove all these parts that we brought here and not just the front wing.

Everyone is massively overreacting as usual. I don't think they will make any "parts" changes for qualifying. They matched Mercedes in race pace.

Great sprint, fun to watch. McLaren being the hunter.

I also don't see why aero efficiency is being brought up, the car is like that for years. They don't prioritize top speed so they tend to suffer if they are behind a slightly slower car but with good top speed. Luckily this year you can use energy to make overlaps so I feel this will be less of an issue.
