Hm big drop off at the end.
Tyres or issues?
Feels like Max exaggerating the cars poor tendencies to make a point to Red bull that the car is terrible.

No. That is not how Max races. The team knows they went for a wrong setup. Hope they can correct for qualy.

He also had graining issues I hears commentators saying.

The "jumping" saga has been going on for years now, I don't think they'll just going to solve it for qualifying. It's gotta be something inherent to the car or its performance.

I wonder what he means by jumping actually. Is it because it's too stiff and the car is literally jumping, or is it because it's too soft and the chassis is oscillating.

but this is the typical sprint weekend from Red Bull. Perhaps they can get more out of the car in the 2nd part of the weekend.

If it's bad here, they'll be nowhere in Monaco.

Q: Can you fix the problems for qualifying?
Max: "We’ve had this for years, only sometimes it’s worse than usual. This time it was really extreme, The car is very tricky on the bumps. It is really uncomfortable to drive.

"We are going to make some changes, because this is really difficult to drive."

When asked if a top five spot is achievable - "If we improve the car a bit, yes. In any case, we can’t make it worse, so it can only get better."

with a badly setup car, race pace was off by around 0.6s/lap w.r.t an upgraded Mercedes. It's not as bad as it was in China/Japan. Miami updates are still doing their job, I think.

2026 is just like a testing session for 2027. Finishing the season in good form will be crucial for next year. I am not worried, we will be back...

Think the other teams underperformed in Q2, but Hadjar's pace is really encouraging.
