Good result for Hadjar, but we've learnt nothing about the car this race.

So what does this mean for the potentially upgraded PU? Is the current PU still usable for next race or could they bring an upgraded one that early? First ADUO period has ended but I cannot find any info regarding the outcome

Mekies said that would have been the last race for this PU.
Don't know what's going on with ADUO, I think we should here something next week?

Thanks I missed that, so at least the failure does not have any more consequences which is relatively positive.

Officially ADUO first period has ended and teams are allowed to bring upgrades the following race, which is Spain. Kinda weird there is no communication at all.

Imo they already know they got ADUO. It's the only reason to hold off with the PU this late. The delay is because of the disagreements between Audi, Ferrari, and the FIA over the 2027 rules.

Sounds logical yeah.
Not expecting too much for Barcelona but that should give a boost to fight with Mclaren/Ferrari

WTF...

Document makes it sound like they changed the setup, got caught and reverted it, under the red flag.

pragmatic
Max: "I had no power, so I basically steered left with the speed I still had and the grip of the tires. I especially hoped everyone would go past on the right. Luckily everyone reacted really well."

"We had a really good weekend up until the race. Of course everyone is disappointed that we're not on the podium."

"There's not much to turn around. We first have to understand what happened today. That's the most important thing."

"If I were leading the championship, this would be a very painful one. As it is now, it hurts a bit less, but it remains incredibly annoying and disappointing for everyone. Everyone wants to finish every race. I especially hope that we quickly understand what the problem was and that we can solve it in the future."

This is an insane joke.
AutoRacer has learned from qualified sources, surprisingly, that it should have been Red Bull-Ford 'elected' as the best ICE of the lot. A flattering result for the newborn Red Bull Powertrains department, with the support of the American manufacturer on a not exactly sweet day in Monaco after Verstappen's breakdown. This will also mean that the Milton Keynes engine manufacturers will not be able to touch the Power Unit, unless significant changes are made to the 2027 hybrid.

The second surprise would be that the dominant Mercedes, credited by all as the best engine, would have obtained ADUO concessions for 2%. Toto Wolff's team can thus access a revised counterpart for both 2026 and 2027.

No way this is true. If it is then Mercedes are either cheating or have suffered a major loss of power after the compression ratio test that we'll see the impact of at Barcelona.
