Great news. Knowing both about the performance increase and when it will arrive... If they figure out how to operate with this fuel, I think it won't take them long to close the gap and then becoming best or one of them.

The task does look daunting. It's probably gonna take several race weekends to get the most out of the car, Especially with the new ICE coming 1 race weekend after the chassis upgrades. Atleast it will give them time to sort out the massive chassis upgrades a bit before giving it more power.

The worrying thing for me is that Alonso said yesterday he will make his decision if he will race next year during the summer break. So before the new engine. So the new chassis/aero will have to deliver in Hungary to convince him then...

I guess even if he decides to quit during the summer break, other drivers could wait and see if the engine improves alot after that before deciding to call Lawrence. Honda might want to get Tsunoda in there and even pay to do so?
In my opinion they need someone with experience to develop the car together with Newey. Is a Vettel comeback completely off the table?
